These clients fell in love with the view. Soaring high up on the backside of Palos Verdes was a home that needed some serious love. This was definitely a full down to the guts remodel. And omg if you saw the before pictures, save your self. It was fully decked out 1960’s home filled with green floral wallpaper, red oak raised panel cabinet doors, shaggy carpet, and even came with curtains to match. Good bye with all of that and hello demo team. The vision was to bring the cliffside coastal feel in. With that panoramic view, we wanted it to feel like you could touch the ocean.

We tore down most of the walls to reconfigure and added a large expansive 12’ island, we added T&G brought in that craftsman that the clients were after, some fun accent tiles to make it a bit more playful, but we kept true to a coastal craftsman elements like rich wood flooring, simple railing details and classic window grids. In the primary bath, our goal was to create a very peaceful sanctuary and the kitchen goal was to make sure that it was the centerpiece of the home- open and welcoming. You will see an overarching story of coastal tones throughout and overall it was a massive transformation with a great team in place!
