The design was driven by a casual California meets high end luxe meets knock your socks off gorgeous. We wanted the organic almost tropical feel, but we also wanted it to appeal to the masses and keep to the look of the brand. My vision was bold and slightly overstated, but comfortable and intimate and flowing with textures of all kind. Our focus was obviously that swanky bar and lounge. The green zellige accented with brass and bronze, I mean… I wanted the tropical wallpaper to embody the feel giving it that nature vibe. Lots of different wall materials from embossed tile, 3 dimensional stone, grasscloths, exotic marbles.. we wanted all the texture, pattern, high contrast, and rich moody tones. I wanted the customers to be transported to when you walked in. And p.s the food is to die for and the owner and management is top of the line. It was an honor to design this restaurant and be a part of PSPs journey.
